With some things on the horizon, and my head churning out new ideas everyday. I think i will keep this journal as my personal musings and working out idea for other writings for other upcoming blogs. I’m a virgo, and well I love lists. I did try that 100 things in 1001 days…I failed that completely. I just wasn’t connecting with my list or the task at hand. With me turning 35 this weekend, I would like to put forth a simpler list of things I want to accomplish.

I've never seen hail before in my life. Not in person. On tv, yeah. Today i got up close and personal with hail. Weird weather is beating down my little Connecticut corner.  July was not a nice month for me. Mourning my dog hit a high. You would think i wouldn't be so upset about it still, that i would have gotten over it a bit more.  One shoe does not make a shoe obsessed woman. I am not a shoe obsessed woman, but i have the makings to be. Most of my life is spent barefoot or in sneakers. It's rare when my feet gets slipped into a shoe or even a boot. The only shoe, besides sneakers, my feet have slipped into a faux crock clog for gardening purposes.

i've had to go back on the vallium, vicodin , and advil to take my left leg off of spasm. yes the whole freakin leg seized up on me and i was in pain.  the long drives to my classes haven't helped where i stumble out of the escape and hobble like a 100 year old woman until the kinks gt worked out -- if ever. the 10000 squats and lunges my trainer ( Read more... )

My nephew has introduced me to a new toy :  PSP handheld game Afterburner.

Sure it's been around for a while. He's had plenty of hand held video games. I grew up with Atari. Played Nintendo with the fourth floor boys of Seeley. Even inherited the ancient Gameboy from a law student. I loved video games.

Obviously in this society, if you have money a lot of time there tends to be special treatment behind it. Not always, but you see it with famous people getting free junk all the time with swag bags or free meals for eating at resturants. It annoys me, but eh, i will never be famous and while i think it's not fair it's their business.

It's prime gardening season. The grass is lush and green. The daffodils are ending as the tulipts start to put on their show. The air smells of earth. Wednesday was beautiful enough to go out and get dirty. Thursday was even better, and gave me opportunity to plant plugs of Romaine Lettuce, Arugula, and Onions.
